Love this notion

Love it, just wish it had a stronger string on it. I have learned not to bury it through a seam and not to tug it too hard or the string will break.

Not tough enough

I purchased 2 packs, which was 4 needles in total. I was burying threads in a quilt and in 2 days, 3 were broken. Very expensive needles to be broken so quickly.

This is useful, in a limited way

This is a useful tool, especially if you are working with fabrics that would snag/catch a self-threading needle to bury threads. In my experience, it does not fully replace a self-threading needle, because of how thick the shaft of the needle is, and how long it is, but those two qualities are neccesary in order for it to do its job. You also need to be careful not to try to "push" the needle from behind, as it will bend and break the wire loop that holds the errant thread you are attempting to bury.

These are a Longarm quilter’s best friend.
